CBS had a very special visitor this month. Father Valmiki from Goa India called in to say Hi to everyone that came out in February (check the gallery below ). Father Valmiki was very impressed with what is happening here at Christian Brothers' School. The mothers of the pupils who went to Goa along with Mr M. McCaughan organised a fund raising event at the Royal Sports Club just before he returned. They raised over £1000 which will go to help the children in the Daddies special school.

A school mural was commissioned of our founder Edmund Rice. This was a monumental task and took some time to complete. The end result was exceptional. Pupils also were involved in this project and worked tirelessly throughout every stage of development. A credit to all those involved. Check out the photo gallery showing the stages of development and click on the photograph to see the final result.

The weather was cold, the snow was wet, and thankfully no bones were broken. Take a look at the gallery and maybe this could be you next year.
